our dearest family and friends
sarah and i (gary incase you didn’t know because i wrote i) are getting married this year and we kinda really want the people reading this beautifully written invitation to come and celebrate our wedding with us.
you have made unique and wonderful impacts on our lives and we would love to share this moment with all of you.
since sarah and i are not living in new zealand, we will be holding our wedding in japanland. It’s a little bit far from nowhere close to nz and a 10 hour plane ride buuuuuuuuut…. it’ll be a great excuse for a holiday, ammmmmmirite?
Still thinking what else to write before the next part.
The next part might be slightly uncomfortable to talk about but I thrive in it because life’s too short to feel uncomfortable.
We will be keeping our wedding small and intimate, so we will not be extending the invitation to your plus one or two or three or robots. however, we will be planning an afterparty so if your partner or pets are traveling with you to Nihonland as a holiday, they are most welcome to come after the wedding reception.
we will also be keeping our wedding child-free, the exceptions are: family, in the belly or on the tittays(baby’s gotta feed, we’re not monsters).

We'll start with a nonsectarian ceremony, then move to the hotel for the reception. Dress code will be black tie optional.

ceremony: 3:30pm—4:00pm
reception: 5:30pm—7:30pm
afterparty: 7:30pm onwards
The Registry
we appreciate each and every one of you for making the trip to japan to celebrate our special day with us. there is no need to bring gifts as the travel cost is already very expensive.
